Apostille Stamp
All public (including notarized) documents issued abroad must be certified with an apostille stamp (for countries that joined the Hague Convention) or certified by an apostille issued by the consulate in the issuing country. Spain is a member of the Hague Convention and accepts notarized documents with an apostille stamp from countries that are also convention members. Any document that has an apostille stamp requires no further certification by the consulate.
